About Our Stamps

Our rubber stamps are made using deeply etched magnesium plates and then expertly trimmed by hand. The wood mount is smooth hard maple, 3/4" high with straight edges and the mount fit the size of the rubber image making it easy to position. The index on top is permanently hand stamped with deep black soy ink. They are the traditional rubber stamps made with "real" red rubber... NOT the new clear polymer stamps.

"Deep etch" refer to the depth of the magnesium plate used to make the stamp mold and typically called 11 point. From said mold or matrix, we then make the stamps to order.

Rubber stamps with simple lines or bold images with negative space (white space between the lines) are often referred to as "deep etched" whether a "detailed" rubber stamps does not have any "negative" (white area) and therefore has the whole surface "raised" instead of just few lines raised. This confuse a lot of folks. Both type of stamps are made from a deep etched magnesium plates and will stamp well.

Some type of DESIGNS are better suited to certain projects. Simple line drawings with lots of negative space are better suited for polymer clay stamping than detailed rubber stamps.

In order to offer close to 14,000 designs all stamps are made to order. We are a Wife and Husband company. A team of 2. Most unmounted orders ship within 2-3 business days and most wood mounted orders ship within 6-7 business days of receiving the order. ALL, large orders take 8-12 working days. We maintain a shipping update on our home page.

We are closed on weekends and legal holidays. Our office hours are 10 AM to 4 PM and our answering machine is always on. The BEST way to reach is via email and we ask you to please go to our "Customer Service" area to see if you can find the answer to your question before emailing us.
